Whenever my sisters and I felt sick or low and needed soothing, my mum would make us a glass of hot milk and honey and it always came with an unbeatable mum-hug which would instantly ease whatever was ailing us. This drink is designed to achieve the same effect, with a few nutritional benefits. If you can’t find dried chamomile flowers, use 2 chamomile teabags or 2 tablespoons of loose chamomile tea.
Serves 2
Ingredients:
- 400ml almond milk
- 100ml filtered water
- 1 tbsp dried chamomile flowers
- 1/2 tsp vanilla powder
- 1 tsp raw or manuka honey or bee pollen
- 1 tbsp milled golden linseeds
Elevate it: 1/2 tsp apple cider vinegar, 1/2 tsp chaga powder, 1 tbsp tocotrienols
